In January-September 2017, the passenger flow of Tolmachevo airport (Novosibirsk) reached 3.752 million increasing by 21% year-on-year, the airport's press service informed. 

The number of passengers on domestic air routes increased by 14.8% to 2.668 million, the number of passengers on international air routes by 39.9% to 1.084 million.

The airport operated 18,469 departures (+14.5%) and processed 20,599 tonnes of cargoes and mail (+19.4%). 

The number of transfer passengers increased by 52%, their share in the total passenger traffic being 20%. 

This September alone, the passenger flow at Tolmachevo increased by 15.9% against the same period in 2016 to 497,982, including 364,539 passengers on domestic air routes (+14.2%), 133,443 international passengers (+20.9%). 

Last month, the number of departures increased by 10% to 2,350, handling of cargoes and mail by 5.3% to 2,308 tonnes.
