The Mi-26 helicopters of EMD Army Aviation formation located in Khabarovsk Krai finished their duty in the Arctic zone.

The helicopters have airlifted more than 70 tons of cargo to the remote EMD garrisons located on Wrangel Island and Cape Schmidt.

Flight paths traversed a number of mountain passes in difficult climatic environment with low temperatures and strong winds. The flight crews had to show highest mastery and experience. The crews successfully accomplished these tasks.
