Cooperation-2017 CSTO CRRF exercise: fighter, assault aircraft and helicopters held training

In course of the Cooperation 2017 CSTO CFFR exercise fighter, assault aircraft and helicopters of the Russian Erebuni military base and Armenian Air Force held joint training at the Bagramyan and Alagyaz training grounds.

More than 25 aircraft of the MiG-29 jet fighters, SU-25 assault airplanes, Mi-24P attack helicopters and Mi-8MT transport helicopters drilled dogfighting and coverage task.

During the drills, the MiG-29 fighter wing practised the coverage of ground units in the mountain area. The training fights were conducted on different altitudes in day and night conditions.

The exercise is led by Commander of the Southern Military District, Colonel General Alexander Dvornikov, and will last until October 13.
