Emergency Ministry’s jet successfully carries out medevac of seriously-ill citizesn from Grozny to Nizhny Nobgorod

An Emergency Ministry’s Ilyushin Il-76 plane took off yesterday from the Ramenskoye airport and successfully carried out medical evacuation of seriously-ill citizens, including 5 children, from the city of Grozny to Nizhny Novgorod.

The patients are need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical care.

The plane is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, ventilators and cardiomonitors allowing providing medical care aboard.

During the flight the patients were accompanied by medical specialists of the Emergency Ministry’s Tsentrospas Team, All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita of the Healthcare Ministry and a psychologist of the Emergency Ministry’s Center for Emergency Psychological Aid.

Once in Nizhny Novgorod, the patients are going to be transferred to Volga Federal Medical Research Center of the Healthcare Ministry to get necessary medical aid.
