Crews of Western MD army aviation practiced destroying ground targets of the simulated enemy in course of the flight tactic exercise held in the Voronezh region.

Pilots of Su-34 bombers covered by MiG-29SMT fighters engaged targets, which had been imitating aircraft at the airfields.

The flight staff also practiced avoiding strikes of the air defence of the simulated enemy. S-300 crews acted as air defence units of the simulated enemy.

In total, more than 300 servicemen and about 20 Su-34 and MiG-29SMT aircraft are involved in the exercise.
