Crews of Mi-28N, Ka-52, Mi-8AMTSh and Mi-35 helicopters of the Southern military district carried out an unguided missile strike on the front edge of the conditional enemy’s defence.
The servicemen improved their skills in operating the aviation hardware on extremely low altitudes following the terrain.
The pilots operated in pairs and wings. They practiced flying in the echelon formation at assigned distances and intervals.
They engaged about 40 targets, which had been imitating hardware column, strongpoints and other objects of the conditional enemy.
More than 10 helicopters of the 4th Air Force and Air Defence army of the Southern MD were involved in the exercise.
