Ka-52, Mi-28N, and Ka-27 helicopters will have been introduced in formations and military units of the Western MD troops located in the Leningrad, Pskov and Kaliningrad regions by the end of 2017.

This aviation hardware will significantly improve the level of interservice cooperation of forces and troops of the Western military district in performing firing, transport airborne, reconnaissance and special tasks.

The aviation hardware is fitted with radioelectronic complexes and systems allowing to operate in any weather and jam conditions.
