Airport ROSHINO in Tyumen region opens after reconstruction

Airport Roschino, the main air harbor of Tyumen region, has officially opened upon successful completion of a reconstruction project, the press service of UTair Aviation informed.

The large-scale airport modernization project implemented by Tyumen region and Yamalo-Nenets autonomous area started in the fall of 2012 and included several stages. As a result of the reconstruction, the area of the airport increased to 27 thousand square meters, the air terminal throughput from 250 to 600 passengers per hour. According to specialists, the airport will be able to serve ca. 5 million passengers per year.

JSC Airport ROSHINO (Tyumen, tax number: 7204660086) accommodates large passenger airliners. Roshino is an international class airport licensed to accept 23 types of aircraft (Tu-154, Tu-134, IL-76, An-12, An-24, An-26, An-28, Yak-40, Yak-42, IL-18, L-410, B737/757, IL-86, ATR-42, ATR-72, CRJ-100/200, A319/320, Golfstream V SP G-550/IV SP, Embraer-120), and all types of helicopters.

Roshino's airfield has two runways: Artificial Runway 2 with dimensions of 3003 x 45 m equipped with the OVI-1 high-intensity lighting system and landing facilities for both directions, and Artificial Runway 1 with dimensions of 2704 x 50 m equipped with a low-intensity lighting system. With an area of more than 27 thousand square meters and a throughput capacity of 600 passengers per hour, the airport can provide services to about 5 million passengers per year.
