During the first training flights in 2017, crews of combat and transport helicopters Mi-8AMTSh Terminator, Mi-28N Night hunter and Mi-35M Crocodile of the separate helicopter regiment located in the Krasnodar Krai have eliminated a simulated enemy military column in the Kuban region.

The pilots carried out strikes with unguided rockets and canons engaging about 40 ground targets such as tanks, APCs and other vehicles. During the combat training task, they spent over 200 munitions.  

The training activities involved over 40 servicemen and up to 10 helicopters of the Southern MD separate regiment.
