Within the strategic command-and-staff exercise “Caucasus-2016” Western MD pilots performed bombings in the Crimea. The fighter crews of MiG-29 aircraft practiced individual and collective take-offs from unfamiliar airfield, air combat using missiles and canons as well as destroyed ground objects of simulated enemy at the Opuk range using training bombs P-50T.

The flight exercise involved 6 fighters MiG-29 redeployed from Kursk to Armavir.

The crews dropped 12 training munitions.
