The army aviation crews of the Southern MD Russian air base Erebuni (Republic of Armenia) have started trainings in the mountains of Kabardino-Balkaria. Over 20 pilots will improve their flight skills over complex terrain, under good and bad weather conditions day and night.
They will practice combat training tasks on Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters, perform take-offs and landings in mountain regions and fire missiles and unguided rockets as well as drop air bombs.
The crews will fly at the altitudes from 15 to 200 metres following the terrain.
