Aeroexpress increased 6-month IFRS net profit by 42%

IFRS net profit of LLC Aeroexpress for H1 2016 grew by 42.09% to RUB 459.802 million from RUB 323.601 million for the same period in 2015, the company reported.

Revenue increased by 2.09% to RUB 2.72 billion from RUB 2.664 billion, operating profit by 29.73% to RUB 831.215 million from RUB 640.728 million, pre-tax profit by 40.32% to RUB 587.005 million from RUB 418.343 million.

LLC Aeroexpress (tax number: 5047066172) is a transport operator established 2005 providing Intermodal and commuter transportation services pursuant to the license of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. Aeroexpress provides railway connection between Moscow City and the airports of the Moscow Air Cluster (Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo) as well as the Lobnya city.

On July 20, 2012, an Aeroexpress line was launched in Vladivostok between the central railway terminal and the new Knevichi airport. Since May 22, 2013, Aeroexpress trains have been plying in Kazan, the capital of the 2013 Summer Universiade. The company's shareholding structure includes JSC Russian Railways, Delta-Trans-Invest LLC and private investors.

In 2015, Aeroexpress provided services to 13 million passengers in Moscow, Kazan, Vladivostok and on the suburban route to Lobnya city in Moscow region (-21.7% year-on-year).

IFRS net profit of LLC Aeroexpress for 2015 decreased by 19.74% to RUB 1.441 billion from RUB 1.796 billion the year before. Revenue decreased by 3.95% to RUB 6.062 billion from RUB 6.312 billion, operating profit by 16.81% to RUB 2.278 billion from RUB 2.739 billion, pre-tax profit by 18.26% to RUB 1.84 billion from RUB 2.251 billion.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of LLC Aeroexpress for H1 2016 increased by 25.5% to RUB 450.435 million from RUB 358.916 million for the same period in 2015. Revenue increased by 2.05% to RUB 2.72 billion from RUB 2.665 billion, sales profit by 18% to RUB 992.904 million from RUB 841.438 million, pre-tax profit by 24.74% to RUB 578.489 million from RUB 463.74 million.
