Over the 8-month period 2016 the Russian aviation companies carried 33mln passenger (7% in growth), M.Sokolov, minister of transport, said at the meeting with V.Putin.
These figures were achieved due to the realization of 5 programs aimed to provide support to the regional aviation carriages including to the Far East and Siberia.
The railway carriages increased 4.5% up to 71mln passengers
