Military delegation of the Chinese Armed Forces arrived at the Rayevsky range. This was stated by the Deputy Commander of the Airborne troops Lieutenant General Andrei Holzakov.
“We suppose, that representatives of other countries would participate in the competition among paratrooeprs next year. We have already received application form from Serbia. Observers from India and Pakistan have also arrived at the range,” stressed Lieutenant General Andrei Holzakov.
The “Airborne platoon” international contest is the competition among units of the Airborne troops. Teams of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Iran and Venezuela are competing for the title of the best this year.
The participants are operating BMD-2 AFVs or BTR-82 APCs or their modifications. The track is equipped with 12 cameras for objective monitoring.
