Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency extended the IFly Airlines flight restrictions until October 1

Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has extended the validity of the Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) of iFly Airlines after it secured additional capacity late last month.

The agency had earlier given a July 31 deadline for the carrier to increase its fleet size to minimum levels and to carry out a review of its finances.

However, with the arrival of a second A330-300, the AOC's validity has now been extended through to October 1.

Using two A330s and a B757-200, iFly operates charter flights to leisure destinations in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Thailand, Spain, China, Italy, and Turkey for and on behalf of the TEZ-Tour agency.
