Russian Aerospace Forces Commander Col. Gen. Viktor Bondarev said that Russia was inviting all the countries to participate in air defense troops competitions in 2017.

Foreign participants and the observers of the army competitions held in Russia are showing increasing interest to the air defense systems manufactured in the country, Russian Aerospace Forces Commander Col. Gen. Viktor Bondarev said on Sunday.

"Of course, the interest is growing. This is a huge incentive for our industry, its capabilities and skills of military personnel," he said answering a corresponding question.

Bondarev added that Russia was inviting all the countries to participate in air defense troops competitions in 2017.

Russia is currently hosting the International Army Games (IAG), which started on July 30. The event features competitions in 23 contests, including tank biathlon, the sniper frontier, gunsmith master and clear sky. A total of 121 teams from 19 countries from across the world are taking part in the IAG. The games are being monitored by observers from 11 countries.
