Russia transferred Kazakhstan 5 anti-aircraft missile systems S-300. More than 170 anti-aircraft missiles are attached; the documents for their transfer are on the stage of completion.
This was announced during a meeting of the defense ministers of Russia and Kazakhstan Imangali Tasmagambetov and Sergey Shoigu.
The arms transfer is a part of the military-technical cooperation agreement between the presidents. Armed Forces of Kazakhstan has been already supplied with modern weapons last year.
They are Su-30SM, military transport and combat helicopters, electronic reconnaissance and monitoring equipment.
