Smolensk aircraft plant pays 98.11% of 2015 dividends

Smolensk aircraft plant has paid 98.11% of the 2015 dividends, transferring RUB 271.843 million to its shareholders, the company informed.

In particular, the company paid RUB 138.545 million common shares, RUB 133.298 million on preferred shares.

It should be recalled that according to a resolution made at the company's annual general meeting on June 3, Smolensk aircraft plant earmarked UB 277.087 million (25% of its net profit) for 2015 dividends. The company intended to pay RUB 138.541 million on Type A preferred shares (RUB 2.17 thousand per pref), RUB 138.546 thousand on shares of common stock (RUB 49.25 per security).

The reason for the failure to pay the dividends in full is the absence of bank payment details and addresses of some shareholders in the register.

JSC Smolensk aircraft plant (tax number: 6729001476) is one of the oldest aviation companies in Russia. The plant established in 1926 joined JSC Tactical Missiles Corporation in 2004. The company's core activities are as follows: batch manufacture of products developed at TMC enterprises, customized production of various modifications of Yak-18T and CM-92T aircraft in various modifications, maintenance of Yak-18T aircraft and manufacture of spare parts for Yak-40, Yak-42 aircraft.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of JSC Smolensk aircraft plant for 2015 grew by 90.8% to RUB 1.108 billion from RUB 580.893 million the year before. Revenue increased by 82.11% to RUB 9.779 billion from RUB 5.37 billion, sales profit by 91.71% to RUB 1.24 billion from RUB 646.545 million, pre-tax profit by 90.74% to RUB 1.394 billion from RUB 730.601 million.
