The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s jet has dispatched the Sukhoi SuperJet 100 to carry out the medical evacuation of the gravely ill child from Rostov-on-Don to Saint Petersburg. The patient needs urgent high-qualified and high-tech medical aid.

The flying hospital of the Russian Emergencies Ministry is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, resuscitation apparatus and cardio monitors, which allow rendering aid to the patients in flight.

Specialists from the Tsentrospas State Central Airmobile Rescue Team of Emergencies Ministry and ZashchitaAll-RussianCenter for Emergency Medicine of the Ministry of Health will accompany the child during the whole operation.

The patient will be delivered to the Almazov’s NorthwesternFederalMedicalResearchCenter in Saint Petersburg for specialized medical treatment.
