For the first time Western MD crews of MiG-29SMT fighters performed bombing with guided bombs in the Leningrad Region

For the first time Western MD crews of MiG-29SMT fighters have performed bombing with guided bombs in the Leningrad Region.

During the tactical exercise, the pilots practiced preparation of fighters for flight, sole and group take-offs from an unfamiliar airfield, used missiles and canons during air combat as well as engaged ground targets with KAB-500 guided bombs.

The training activities will last for a week and involve 50 servicemen and 6 fighters MiG-29SMT.
