The Ilyushin Il-76 plane of the Emergencies Ministry has taken off from the Ramenskoye Airfield to carry out medical evacuation of 10 injured in gas explosion in the city of Makhachkala, Dagestan to Moscow.

The patients are in need of immediate highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.

The Ilyushin Il-76 plane, which is used for medical evacuation, is rigged with the most advanced equipment and special medical modules which allow rendering medical aid to the injured in flight.

The patients are going to be accompanied by the medical staff from the Tsentrospas State Central Airmobile Unit of the Emergencies Ministry of Russia and the ZashchitaAll-RussianCenter for Emergency Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Russia and psychologist from the Center for Emergency Psychological Aid of the Emergencies Ministry.

Upon arrival, the patients are going to be delivered to medical institutions of Moscow for specialized medical care.
