S7 Airlines increased 6-month RAS net profit by 62%

RAS net profit of Siberia Airlines, PJSC (S7 Airlines) for H1 2016 grew by 62% to RUB 491.609 million from RUB 303.46 million for the same period in 2015, the company reported.

Revenue increased by 34.8% to RUB 44.45 billion from RUB 32.975 billion, sales profit by 87.74% to RUB 857.236 million from RUB 456.597 million, pre-tax profit by 62% to RUB 491.609 million from RUB 303.46 million.

Siberia Airlines, PJSC (tax number: 5448100656) is one of the largest airlines of Russia. Major shareholders of Siberia Airlines are: CJSC S7 Group (63.3%) and the Government of Russia (25.5%). The airline's fleet consists of 40 aircraft: 20 Airbus A319 airliners, 17 A320 airliners, one A310 airplane and two long-haul Boeing 767-300 airliners.

The company's branches and representative offices are operating in 37 cities of Russia, 13 cities of the CIS countries and 14 in other countries.

In the first half of 2016, the passenger throughput of Siberia Airlines, PJSC (S7 Airlines) increased by 19.4% year-on-year to 4.327 million.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of Siberia Airlines, PJSC for 2015 grew by 6.23% to RUB 922.896 million from RUB 868.745 million the year before. Revenue increased by 16.28% to RUB 82.215 billion from RUB 70.707 billion, sales profit by 1.85% to RUB 2.477 billion from RUB 2.432 billion, pre-tax profit by 8.41% to RUB 1.333 billion from RUB 1.23 billion.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of Siberia Airlines, PJSC (S7 Airlines) for Q1 2016 grew by 3.46% to RUB 117.595 million from RUB 113.662 million for the same period in 2015. Revenue increased by 18.9% to RUB 17.385 billion from RUB 14.622 billion.
