Pilots of the Pacific Fleet anti-submarine aviation practiced bombing submarine of the simulated enemy

Crews of Tu-142M3 anti-submarine aircraft are performing training flights. In course of the training, Tu-142M3 crews are practicing searching and tracking a submarine of the simulated enemy using radiolocation and hydroacoustic equipment. The pilots hit the assigned target with aviation bombs and torpedoes.  

Moreover, pilots of the Pacific Fleet naval aviation practiced flying over featureless terrain along the assigned route.

Tu-142M3 crews operated the aircraft for more than 5 hours. The training was held in accordance to the combat training plan of the Pacific Fleet.
