Russia's Combat Flight Skills Competition to Expand Abroad in 2018

The Aviadarts flight skills competitions among combat planes held in Russia will expand beyond the country's borders in 2018, Russia's Aerospace Forces Commander Col. Gen. Viktor Bondarev said Sunday.

International air forces competitions Aviadarts-2016 kicked off on Sunday in the Russian city of Ryazan. Pilot teams from Russia, China, Belarus and Kazakhstan are partaking in the contest. The competition is monitored by observers form Egypt, Iran, India, Serbia and many other countries.

"We are figuring it out, and I believe, we are sure to go abroad in 2018, we are invited to Kazakhstan, Belarus and China," Bondarev told journalists.
