The Ulyanovsk, Russia– Baku, Azerbaijan, flight will be launched on July 15, 2016, the Komsomolskaya Pravda Newspaper writes citing the Ministry of Industry, Construction and Transport of the Ulyanovsk Region.

“The Ulyanovsk Region and Azerbaijan are establishing air service. The flights fromUlyanovsk (Vostochny Airport) to Baku have been scheduled since July 15^th through September 30,2016”, the newspaper notes.

Planes will fly once a week, on Fridays.

Arrival time in Ulyanovsk is at 11:00a.m., departure from Ulyanovskis at 00:20p.m. Travel time is two hours and 25 minutes. Air ticket sales for the flights have already been opened.

The ministry does not indicate which airline will operate the flight.

In April-June 2016, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) operated charter flights en route Ulyanovsk – Baku– Ulyanovsk.
