In H1 2016, the cargo turnover of AirBridgeCargo Airlines (operating as part of Volga-Dnepr Group) increased by 22.8% to 2.274 billion tonne-kilometers from 1.852 billion for the same period in 2015, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency informed.
Cargo and mail handling decreased by 19% to 235,685 tonnes from 290.911 thousand tonnes. The revenue load factor was 65.6% decreasing by 4.9 p.p.
According to Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency, the company currently ranks first in the cargo transportation volume.
AirBridgeCargo Airlines LLC (ABC, tax number: 7704548011) is the biggest Russian regular cargo air carrier providing air transport services from Asia to Europe and the USA over the territory of Russia using aircraft of the Boeing 747 family. The average age of its fleet is just over 4 years.
In January-May 2016, AirBridgeCargo Airlines increased its cargo turnover by 20.7% to 1.875 billion tonne-kilometers from 1.553 billion tonne-kilometers for the same period in 2015.
