In H1 2016, Aurora Airlines transported 607,040 passengers (+19.9% year-on-year), Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency informed. 

The passenger turnover increased by 16.8% to 976.37 million passenger-kilometers, the passenger load factor by 1.5 p.p. to 68%. 

Cargo and mail handling grew by 26.8% to 3,460 tonnes, the cargo turnover by 22.6% to 6.703 million tonne-kilometers.

JSC Aurora Airlines (tax number: 6501161401) was established by JSC Aeroflot – Russian Airlines on the basis of two regional companies JSC Vladivostok Air and JSC Sakhalinskie Aviatrassy Airlines (SAT Airlines). Aeroflot owns 51%, Sakhalin region 49% of Aurora's authorized capital.

In January-May 2016, Aurora Airlines transported 483,127 passengers (+20.6% year-on-year), Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency informed.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of JSC Aurora Airlines for 2015 increased 5.39 times to RUB 453.703 million from RUB 84.243 million the year before. Revenue increased by 38.12% to RUB 14.166 billion from RUB 10.256 billion, sales profit 3.76 times to RUB 680.904 million from RUB 180.96 million, pre-tax profit 5.39 times to RUB 597.882 million from RUB 110.875 million.
