Murmansk Airport provides loan to Novaport Holding

On July 20, JSC Murmansk Airport and Novaport Holding LLC concluded a loan agreement for a total amount of RUB 160 million for a period of 2 years, the airport informed.

The loan will be provided in several tranches based on the holding's application.

This transaction was approved at the annual general meeting of Murmansk Airport on June 24.

Novaport Holding LLC (Moscow, tax number: 7704857789) is owned on a parity basis to AEON Corporation (a company allied to Roman Trotsenko) and the investment holding Meridian Capital (Kazakhstan). Since 2007, the holding has been implementing airport infrastructure construction and reconstruction projects. Novaport Holding manages the airports of Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo), Chelyabinsk, Barnaul, Tomsk, Chita, Astrakhan, Volgograd.

JSC Murmansk Airport (tax number; 5105040715) holds a monopoly on ground aviation services Murmansk region with a market share exceeding 65%. Besides, it is the only airport in Murmansk region carrying out international flights. Its throughput is five takeoff and landing operations per hour, with 12 parking aprons.

The authorized capital of the airport of RUB 247,109. It consists of 1,853,318 common shares and 617,772 Type A preferred shares. In 2015, the passenger flow at Murmansk Airport increased by 12.6% year-on-year to 751,258.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of JSC Murmansk Airport for 2015 increased 4.8 times to RUB 53.9 million from RUB 11.232 million the year before. Revenue increased by 19.25% to RUB 561.267 million from RUB 470.667 million, sales profit 3.51 times to RUB 72.603 million from RUB 20.697 million, pre-tax profit 4.6 times to RUB 68.209 million from RUB 14.824 million.
