IrAero Superjet made emergency landing at the airport of Omsk after engine oil problem

An IrAero Sukhoi Superjet 100-95, registration RA-89010 performing flight IO-211 from Barnaul to Sochi (Russia) with 60 passengers and 6 crew, was climbing out of Barnaul when the crew stopped the climb at about FL270 about 300nm east of Omsk (Russia) when the crew decided to divert to Omsk due to engine oil problems, stopped the climb and drifted down to FL240. The aircraft landed safely in Omsk about one hour later, AvHerald repored.

The West Siberian Transport Prosecution Office reported the commander reported technical problems with the engine oil system. A backup aircraft has been dispatched.

Iraero airline received the SSJ-100 a day earlier, on July 26. At the same time the aircraft performed its first flight on the route Irkutsk — Omsk — Sochi.
