Ural Airlines was not allowed to fly from Moscow’s Zhukovsky Airport to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan

An Interdepartmental Commission of the Russian Ministry of Transport has refused granting permits to Ural Airlines for operating regular flights from the Moscow’ Zhukovsky Airport to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, according to Interfax.

This Air Company filed its applications for flight operations with a frequency of seven flights per week to each of the following destinations: Oshand Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, as well as Dushanbeand Khujand in Tajikistan. The reasons for this ban have not been known so far.

In May 2016, the first air carriers were identified that will carry its passengers and cargo from the fourth Moscowairport, Zhukovsky. SCAT Airlines, Kazakhstan, and Air Kyrgyzstanwill each operate 20 passenger flights per week. Cargo flights will be carried out by Aviastar-TU and not certified yet Sky Gates Airlines.
