Passenger flow at Sheremetyevo increased by 7.3% in H1 2016

In H1 2016, the passenger flow at Sheremetyevo International Airport reached 15.413 million increasing by 7.3% year-on-year, the company informed.

The passenger flow on domestic air routes increased by 12.7% to 7.027 million, the number of international passengers by 3.1% to 8.387 million.

The airport carried out 130,530 takeoff and landing operations (+3.2% year-on-year).

In June 2016, the number of air passengers increased by 1.9% year-on-year to 3.079 million.

JSC International airport Sheremetyevo (JSC MASh, tax number: 7712094033) is the largest Russian airport operating international flights to over 200 destinations.

MASh's shareholding structure is as follows: the Russian Federation (83.04% of the authorized capital), PJSC Aeroflot – Russian Airlines (8.96%), state-owned corporation Vnesheconombank (4.24%), JSC VTB Bank (3.76%).

In Q1 2016, JSC International airport Sheremetyevo increased its passenger flow by 9.2% year-on-year to 6.965 million.

According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net loss of JSC International airport Sheremetyevo for 2015 decreased 2.03 times to RUB 7.86 billion from RUB 15.918 billion the year before. Revenue increased by 19.64% to RUB 22.911 billion from RUB 19.151 billion, sales profit by 49.81% to RUB 8.652 billion from RUB 5.775 billion, loss before tax decreased by 49.97% to RUB 9.643 billion from RUB 19.274 billion.
