40th World Military Parachuting Championship begins in Kubinka, Moscow Region. The competitions are taking place on July 19-28.
Athletes will perform parachute jumps on accuracy from 6 Mi-8 helicopters and 4 An-2 planes.
According to Colonel Gernot Rittenschober, President of technical committee, 357 sportsmen from 38 countries are participating in the competitions. Nine teams will take part in the Championship as observers.
