VSMPO AVISMA to transport five tons of titanium hardware to Farnborough for aircraft industry

VSMPO-AVISMA now presents engine-building production at the air show,  taking place in Farnborough, 11-17 July 2016.

The corporation’s exhibition stand display  to present samples of its products. Landing gear, air frame and wing forgings, rolled rings and disks used in engine manufacturing – several dozens of unique products with a total weight of more than 5 tons are intended to demonstrate the achievements of the Corporation in the manufacturing of titanium alloy products for aviation industry.

In Farnborough, representatives of the corporation will hold over 50 meetings and talks with potential customers and partners.

"Soon a delegation of 40 employees, including top executives, project managers and industrial engineers will depart for London. The signing of new contracts is also expected. Details are as yet under wraps," the press office added.

VSMPO AVISMA is one of the largest manufacturers of titanium alloys in the world, covering the entire technology cycle: from processing the raw material to output of highly processed finished goods. The majority stock holding (around 60 %) is held by the corporation management, another 5 % is held by joint venture BAK, and the blocking stake (25 % plus one share) is held by Rostec. The remaining 10 % or so of the corporation’s shares are in free circulation and listed on the Moscow Exchange.
