Irkutsk – Bishkek direct flights restored

On July 14, 2016, Avia Traffic Company, Kyrgyzstan, a partner of the Irkutsk InternationalAirport, started operating its flights on the Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan– Irkutsk, Russia – Bishkek air route.

Regular flight to the capital of Kyrgyzstan will be operated once a week, on Thursdays, flight time is three hours and 50 minutes. Boeing 737 aircraft with its 148 passenger seats have been involved to operate these flights.

The new destination will complement Avia Traffic Company’s existing flight en route Irkutsk –Osh, Kyrgyzstan.

Air traffic en route Irkutsk– Bishkek, which was carried out by another air carrier, was terminated in September 2015. Avia Traffic Company finds a new destination to be perspective, as there are plans to operate the flight connecting Baikal and Issyk - Kul on the year-round base.
