Active stage of the flight tactic exercise with army aviation formation of the Western MD started at the Kingisepp, aviation range in the Leningrad Region. About 20 strike helicopters including Mi-24PN, Mi-35, and Mi-8MTV-5, are involved in the exercise.
Crews are practicing missile and bomb strikes on targets, which imitate columns with combat hardware and command centres of the simulated enemy.
Strikes are carried out on targets at the distance of 500-5,000 meters from extremely low altitudes.
Combat firing is held at day- and nighttime with use of special night sights.
