According to a source, Russia will deploy its Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean Sea no earlier than October.

Russia will deploy its Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean Sea no earlier than October and recent media reports regarding a planned early deployment are false, a source familiar with the matter said Monday.

"According to the combat training plan, Admiral Kuznetsov will set out on a long trip this fall, but no earlier than October," the source told RIA Novosti.
