VTB Leasing has transferred a Boeing 777 airlines to Rossiya airlines, VTB Leasing informed.
The aircraft was previously operated by Transaero. This aircraft underwent complete maintenance at the SIAEC station in Singapore and received the livery of Rossiya airlines.
"We are extremely responsible in relation to safety of air transportation services. Therefore, we only transfer aircraft when we are absolutely certain that they underwent all necessary technical checks," CEO of VTB Leasing Andrei Konoplev was quoted as saying in the company's statement.
The leasing company transferred the first aircraft to the air carrier last week.
VTB Bank (PJSC) (tax number: 7702070139) ranks second largest Russian bank after Sberbank in terms of asset size. The government holds a 60.9% equity stake in the bank. In Russia, VTB Group performs banking operations through one parent bank (VTB Bank) and six subsidiary banks (the largest of them being VTB 24, the Bank of Moscow and TransCreditBank). IFRS net profit of VTB for Q1 2016 was RUB 0.6 billion against a loss of RUB 18.3 billion for the same period in 2015.
Net interest income of VTB Group increased by 121.4% year-on-year to RUB 98.3 billion. The group's fee & commission incomes increased by 13% year-on-year to RUB 17.4 billion.
