Intensive training of Ka-27PS search and rescue helicopter crews started in Kamchatka

Intensive training of search and rescue unit force grouping has started in the north-east of Russian Federation in Kamchatka. Primarily, crews of Ka-27PS search and rescue ship-based helicopter are involved into the training.

Helicopter crews practise interaction and operating in complex weather conditions while rescuing people in emergence. Medical assistant will carry out landing from helicopter board from different altitudes according to the situation as well as victim lifting and first aid assistance to him or her.

Ka-27PS crews will start practising tasks on search and rescue in sea after the practising their actions above land.
