Maxim Kuzyuk,  the head of  Technodinamika Holding Company, part of the Rostec State Corporation, made a presentation at the Conference held by Airbus — one of the world's leading aircraft manufacturers. He spoke about the attraction of  Technodinamika Holding Company as a partner for the world's aircraft manufacturers.

“Russian aviation industry has a long history and considerable scientific and technical competencies, while Russia has one of the largest research and production base in the aircraft industry and significant resources in the development and manufacture of aircraft, ” — said Maxim Kuzyuk. “At the same time, Russia nowdays is characterized by low costs in the design and manufacture areas due to the Russian Rouble devaluation that caused the cost reduction of labor as well as the cost of electricity and utilities,” — he added. The average nominal monthly wage in Russia today, including taxes, is about €849 per month, which is lower than in China where the figure stands at €1,080. The cost of electricity in Russia is also lower than in China and Europe: in our country the cost per 1 kW is 0.07 euros, in China and Europe it is €0.08 and €0.13 respectively.

At the same time, as noted Maxim Kuzyuk, Russian manufacturers of aircraft systems and components are ready to operate on the international market now. In 2015, Technodinamika Holding Company obtained certification of Quality Management System according to international standard AS/EN 9100, which is a prerequisite for cooperation with foreign customers and engagement of holding companies in the international cooperation. The scope of the holding company investments in R&D, production revamp and optimization of operations is scheduled at the level of €1 billion.

In addition, Technodinamika Holding develops competence through joint projects with international suppliers. The key projects are: localization of the production of landing gears for SSJ-100 in Russia together with Messier-Bugatti-Dowty (Safran Group) and development of fire protection system for SSJ-100 and MS-21 with Curtiss Wright. Being engaged in the first project, the holding company within 2 years proved to comply with the suppliers’ requirements in accordance with the findings of MBD due diligence, and thus, the company received a special certification of processes according to NADCAP and launched the serial production of landing gear struts. Now the holding company is preparing for the production of cylinders and landing gear struts. And the development of a fire protection system confirmed the designing potential of the holding company: a system prototype has been successfully tested and confirmed the declared characteristics.

“Introduction of global best practices in production together with effective interaction of the project participants allowed us to become a manufacturer of SSJ-100 within a short time,” —- said Maxim Kuzyuk. “Today we are ready to promptly bring our capabilities in the production of aircraft components in line with international standards, and to become a reliable partner for the world's largest aircraft manufacturers.”
