A Bombardier passenger plane has made a safe emergency landing at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport as one of its engines went dead shortly after departure, a source in emergency services has told TASS.

"The plane made a safe landing at Domodedovo. Nobody was hurt," the official said.

The Yamal Airlines’ flight left Domodedovo for Murmansk at 12:35 Moscow time. Its starboard engine failed shortly after. The pilot made a decision to return. The plane circled around Moscow for a while to burn fuel before the landing. There were 50 passengers and crew on board.
