Scheduled training flights of pilots of the Northern Fleet naval aviation at the ground test training complex of deck-based aviation (NITKA complex), located in the Saksky air garrison of the Northern Fleet. 

During 1.5 months pilots of the separate fighter aviation regiment of the Northern Fleet carried out more than 150 takeoffs and landings operating the NITKA complex, which was imitating ski-ramp of Soviet Union Admiral Kuznetsov heavy aviation cruiser.

Redeployment of 10 Su-33 fighters and Su-25 attack aircraft has started redeploying from the Crimea to the permanent location at the Northern Fleet.
