Russia’s Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow, an MRO branch of Volga-Dnepr Group, has been awarded a Russian Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) 285 certificate to perform maintenance on Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft, ATWonline reported.
Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow will provide line maintenance, component repair, structural repair and nondestructive checks at its Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport base. The MRO provider also plans to gain certificates for SSJ100 base maintenance and line stations.
Launched in 2009, Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow has gained EASA Part-145, Part-147, Bermuda OTAR-145, OTAR-39 Subpart F certificates. It provides maintenance for the Boeing 737NG, 737CL, 747-200/300/400/8 and A320 family aircraft. It has line stations at three Moscow airports—Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo—and at Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar airports.
