Tactic and army aviation of the Western MD located at 5 airfields in three federal districts is being deployed to operational airfields within flight-tactic exercise.

In particular, su-34 crews will conduct flights at the altitude of more than 3,000 km with refueling in the air. They will also practice firing at ranges in the Voronezh and Tver Regions.

Moreover, crews of Su-27 and MiG-29SMT will practice intercepting aerial targets and conduct dogfights. They are to intercept more than 50 aerial targets.

The scheduled exercise involves up to 1,500 servicemen and, 300 pieces of automotive and special hardware, and more than 50 aircraft.
