Iran Interested in Joint Production of Sukhoi Superjet 100 With Russia

According to the Iranian trade minister, the country is interested in joint production of Sukhoi Superjet 100 airliner with Russia.

Iran is interested in joint production of Sukhoi Superjet 100 airliner with Russia, talks on the matter are underway, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, said Thursday.

"Sukhoi Superjet is a good modern aircraft. We take interest in the aviation industry to work together and realize joint production," the minister said.

He added that the negotiations on the issue were underway but there were no concrete results so far.
