Preparation for the summer training period is finished in the Western MD

Formations, units and military bases of the Western MD finished their preparation for the summer training period of 2016.

Militarymen carried out maintenance service of armoured, automobile, special hardware, combat ships and aviation in course of preparation period. In total, up to 65,000 pieces of hardware are prepared for the training period.

Engineer and sapper units finished clearance 46 ranges from blind shells. Modernization of material facilities is provided.

District staff representatives inspected readiness of units and formations for the summer period.
