Emergency Ministry jet delivers humanitarian cargo for Luhansk and Donetsk regions to Rostov-on-Don

An Emergency Ministry Ilyushin Il-76 plane has today delivered over 40 tons of medicines from the Ramenskoye airport to Rostov-on-Don.

Ministry’s jets have delivered over 70 tons of medicines in two days. The cargo will join the 52nd humanitarian convoy being built at the Don Rescue Center. The medicines will be loaded to trucks which soon will transport to Luhansk and Donetsk regions food, medicines, text books and essentials.

In all, the Russian Emergencies Ministry convoys have delivered over 61 thousand tons of humanitarian aid to Luhansk and Donetsk regions since the middle of August 2014.
