Fighter and bomber crews of the Eastern MD Air Force and Air Defence flew to the Crimea on their aircraft

Su-24M2 bombers as well as Su-30SM and Su-35S multipurpose fighters of the Eastern MD Air Force and Air Defence formation were redeployed to the Bolshoye Savino airfield in the Perm Krai. In the near future, 8 flight crews are going to continue a distant flight to the Crimea to take part in the all-Russian “Aviadarts-2016” contest.

In total, 18 pilots and 58 members of technical personnel from the Eastern MD will take part in the contest.

Crews of Su-25SM attack aircraft as well as Mi-8AMTSh and Ka-52 helicopters will use aircraft of the Southern MD Air Force and Air Defence formation.

The all-Russian stage of the “Aviadarts-2016” flight contest will be held at the Chauda range in the Crimea from May 25 to June 8.
