The Russian Emergencies Ministry is sending its Antonov An-148 plane to the capital of Crimea to evacuate three seriously-ill patients and get them to hospitals in Moscow and Penza. All the patients are in need of urgent high-tech medical aid.
The An-148 has on board special medical units and modern equipment allowing controlling the patients’ condition and helping them.
During the flight the patients are going to be accompanied by the medical personnel of the Tsentrospas team of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, a team of the All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita of the RF Ministry of Healthcare and a psychologist of the Emergency Ministry’s Center for Emergency Psychological Aid.
The plane will deliver on of the patients to Moscow and the other two to Penza to the Federal Cardiovascular Surgery Center.
