Pilots of the interceptor aircraft of the Western MD airbase have practiced methods of taking turns in groups within a composite wing escorting simulated intruder aircraft.
Having received the alert signal, the duty forces composed of MiG-29SMT and Su-27 interceptors were put into the air.
Within the standard time limits, the units carried out reconnaissance and detection of intruders.
The composite wing practiced blocked the targets and accompanied the simulated violators to the neutral air space zone.
About 15 MiG-29, Su-27 and MiG-31 aircraft of the Western MD air units were engaged in the training.
