Sibir Technics, part of ENGINEERING Holding, is glad to announce the launch of placard manufacturing facility in its Novosibirsk premises. The new production will open its doors on the 26th of May and will operate in accordance with the requirements of EASA Part 21G certificate.
“After the launch of production facility under our EASA Part 21G certification there will be no restrictions to using our placards. They are certified aeronautical products with EASA Form 1 product certificates,” Sibir Technic emphasized.
Sibir Technic’s placard facility is equipped with a solvent plotter-cutter and a laminator, which are capable of producing placards up to 1400 mm wide. Placard length is limited only by the length of the foil roll (standard length is 50 m).
“By combining two or more placards it’s possible to create an image of virtually any size. We will be able to manufacture placards for particularly any aircraft type at our customer’s requests,” the company’s representative explained.
The production process employs certified tamperproof aviation foils tested in Sibir Technic’s laboratories. There are three trained specialists involved in the manufacture, all of whom have been approved for producing and application of the entire range of placards, both external (on fuselage, wing, tail and landing gear) and internal (in the cabin and cockpit).
With the launch of the placard production facility, Sibir Technic reinforces its service offering within the full-cycle aircraft modification package: from design (EASA Part 21J) to production (EASA Part 21G) and implementation (EASA Part 145).
The placard printing service is not new to the Russian market, but ENGINEERING Holding is the only entity eligible to provide the certified full-cycle service to aviation clients. The company’s competitive advantages compared to its foreign colleagues are pricing in rubles, absence of customs duties, and a “one-stop-shop” service: we design the placard catalogue, develop the service bulletin for applying the placards onto a particular aircraft and produce them,” ENGINEERING Holding’s Director for Regional Sales Sergey Kravchenko explained.
Along with the Sibir Technic, S 7 ENGINEERING - another subsidiary of the ENGINEERING Holding based in Domodedovo - also offers the placard production services.
